Queen Anne's County Christian Assistance (QACCA) is a non-profit, faith-based organization comprised of local church leaders committed to making a difference. This group operates on the premise of showing God's love to the poor within our community by providing essential services. By doing this, we reconcile guests to God, themselves, and others.
QACCA operates Our Haven Shelter, which is Queen Anne's County's only cold weather shelter. Our Haven shelter, which has been in operation for five years, provides services of a safe and warm environment, three meals daily, medication, clothing etc. to men, women, and children. QACCA has partnered with the Queen Anne's County Housing Department to provide year-round services by establishing a transitional housing program. This program is located in Stevensville. The program is available to a family for up to 2 years as long as an intensive case management plan is followed.
